Description
Inspired by the renowned Tiger 1 tank number 205, commanded by the legendary Michael Wittmann, this model captures the essence of one of WW2’s most formidable tanks in stunning 1:33 minifigure scale. It features the the three-colour camouflage of the Tiger 1 in Normandy which was characterised by its distinctive and irregular strokes of olive green and reddish brown on a base layer of dark tan. This scheme was carefully designed for the tank to blend seamlessly with the diverse environments of the Normandy battlefields, from dense hedgerows and woods to open fields. With an 8/10 building difficulty and a rewarding 2.5-hour assembly time, this kit offers a thrilling challenge for those with average LEGO experience.
With 1153 bricks, this kit captures all the iconic features of the Tiger 1, from the distinctive horseshoe curve of the turret to the robust, boxed chassis. Every angle of the model reflects the tank’s legendary design, making it instantly recognisable. Beyond the exterior, the model is also equipped with a simplified and interesting interior within the hull, featuring driver seats, a turret basket, an ammo rack, and an engine compartment housing a Maybach engine. The open-up design makes it easy to dismantle and explore those inner features. It also has working suspension for realistic play.
Compatible with LEGO® bricks, this kit offers builders an immersive experience and a must-have addition to any military collection. It is perfect for display or play and an unique gift for model enthusiasts and brick lovers alike.

I got this wonderful Tiger for Christmas, had lot of fun building and playing with it :
Pros :
– Excellent and accurate details on the inside and the outside
– Working suspension
– Higly customizable and replacable parts compared to some other brands
Cons :
– Fragile parts: the exhausts, the turret basket, the vents, the sides of the turret, the lower front plate (the one under the mg and driver port)
– The tracks need to be on rough surface to roll nicely
Overall nothing that’s not reparable with legos, its a great build and i definitely reccomend it, wether for dioramas or as a toy.
And it fits very well with its cobi brother !
(also i was able to fit a minifigure inside by removing some interior parts, thanks buildarmy and rose for your response !)

I was able to fit a mini-figure in the radio operators hatch with some modifying. I replaced the 4 x 2 tile that is between both of the hatches with two 2 x 2 tiles to make them fit. I’ve also changed the green bracket the holds the handle inside the tank (the mg handle) to be reversed/flipped to the opposite piece, and halfed it like in the pictures as well as taking out the mg handle completely. This can be done with the spare parts of the model, although I do not display it like this, this would be better for any stop motions or dioramas.

Not a review but a question , can you fit minifigures in the crew hatches and commander hatches ?
and can you actually fit them completely in the tank ?
Thank you for your response.

Thanks for being interested. No, you can’t fit the minifigure in the tank unless you remove some interior structures such as the driver seats and the main driveshaft.

This was a very good in my eyes. 99% of the bricks provided clipped together quite well, only one had to be glued (the radio operators hatch) but all the rest had good clutch power. No missing parts, although I did notice that in the website photos there is a shovel on the upper plate but there seems to be none provided in the parts and in the instructions. This was also a problem in the tiger II model I purchased (with the same camo) because it had no shovel so I had to provide it from my own Lego. I especially loved how it can open up and display the components which make it a great display piece. Instructions were clear to follow although I had some trouble finding the right colours as I am colour blind and some of the greens confused me. Build experience was great was a little challenging but is better than most Lego sets which I find too easy so this was a welcome change.
I would highly recommend this set to others that like tanks, Lego, and Lego tanks. It comes at a reasonable price for the quality of the set. Big thanks to Dr. Ruibin. Zhang for a great design and getting most of the details right that others don’t. Thanks again build army I will definitely be buying some more great products from you in the future!
p.s I found your site from scots plastic, shout out to him for great advertising!

I want to tell you that this camouflage Tiger is better than any other manufacturer.
You won’t regret buying it. I want many people to get their hands on this wonderful Tiger I.
However, it is still a test version, so there is still room for improvement.
There were almost no problems, but the shell that was set inside the tank could not be assembled according to the assembly instructions.
Also, there was only one part that had loose joints and needed to be glued.
These issues are minor, but I hope they are fixed in the final version.
Anyway, this model is so great that I want to assemble it again!
