FAQ

We mostly use high quality compatible pieces for our kits to cut the price. However, we do provide Lego hybrid kits in which the basic parts, such as the bricks, plates and tiles, are Lego pieces, while some rare parts are compatible pieces. The exact percentage can be found in the description of the kits.

We use Lego compatible bricks and our workshop for sorting the pieces is located in China.

Our designers use Lego Digital Designer and Studio 2.0 to create the kits. We use blueprints to precisely determine the dimensions of the vehicles and we aim at over 90% matching.

Please request the instructions by informing us that the the kits have been delivered through email. The download links will be sent through Google drive.

Even though we have the kits weighted by electronic balance and provide spare parts for the tiny pieces, there’s still a chance of missing parts. In this case, we would either send you the missing pieces directly or buy Lego replacements which would be sent to you from the third party.

However, we would appreciate it if you could double check it when something can’t be found as in many cases they are just hiding beneath others.

We prioritize famous military vehicles from WW2 and modern eras but all suggestions are welcome!

You can directly chat with Dr. Ruibin Zhang, the chief designer and owner of Buildarmy on Instagram @buildarmy. He is super busy but would reply to all messages, from questions, suggestions to casual topics like Lego techniques and WW2 history.
