Description
This is the our first WW2 French tank! The light infantry tank was designed in the 1930s to replace the aging FT-17 tank and was named after its year of manufacture, 1935. The R35 was small and relatively lightly armed, with a 37mm main gun and a 7.5mm machine gun. Its armour was also relatively thin, but it was fast and manoeuvrable, making it well-suited for supporting infantry in battle. Despite its limitations, the R35 remained in service throughout the war, and was used by both French and German forces.

Very nice model, solid. Even has an interior showing a portion of engine and driveshaft. Can’t really turn the track without the suspension elements coming out of position however. No special mounting for the turret but it still turns nicely and securely.
