This 785-piece set provides an authentic 1:33 scale replica of the Sherman tank, a staple of Allied operations throughout World War II. Known for its reliability and versatility, the Sherman tank supported infantry and armoured units across numerous battlefields with notable efficiency.

With dimensions of 18cm in length, 8cm wide, and 8.7cm high, this model captures the Sherman’s robust design with precise detail. It features not only detailed exterior but also a detailed interior that includes seats, a transmission, and a radial engine. Builders can remove parts of the hull to explore the intricate internal mechanics, enhancing the model’s educational and display value. Just like the real Sherman tank was designed for rapid production and ease of repair, this model kit is designed to be easy and straightforward to assemble, making it perfect for beginners and seasoned modelers alike.

A Brief History of M4 Sherman Tank

Sherman tank, an iconic symbol of Allied armour during World War II, 1111111embodied versatility and mass production. Named after Union General William Tecumseh Sherman, it entered service in 1942 and quickly became the backbone of Allied armoured forces. With its 75mm main gun and armour protection, the Sherman was effective against early German tanks. However, it faced challenges against heavier German armour like the Panther and Tiger tanks. Despite this, the Sherman’s reliability, ease of maintenance, and numerical superiority ensured its widespread use across all theaters of the war. Its adaptability saw it employed in various roles, from infantry support to reconnaissance. The Sherman’s production numbers and continual upgrades throughout the war demonstrated the Allied commitment to industrialized warfare. 6,748 M4 Shermans were produced between 1942 and 1944.

Amazing build and accurately designed. One bad thing the tracks could not move. despite that I really loved the build and will be using it in my stopmotions. It is my 5th build and definitely getting more in the future.

Great MOC, with its great Green US color from WW2 ! I would only replace its front machine gun by a somehow more realistic part, a not easy detail to fix at this 1/33 scale. But it doesn’t prevent from enjoying this final set. Thanks for this wonderful MOC

Perfectly smooth and extremely detailed, very little pieces missing, luckily I had spare bricks but for someone new to build army I wouldn’t suggest it due to the missing pieces. I can’t remember what pieces were missing so that’s bad on my part but all in all this Sherman is the best adaptation yet. And I recommend buying if you’re an experienced builder. In this photo you can see it’s dimensions compared with my other build army models. It’s definitely one of the best sets I’ve built to date

      Hi Kieran,

Thanks for your feedback on the M4 and others. We have investigated the missing pieces issue of M4 tank version 3 and found that there’s two pieces systematically missing on the bricklist, which was due to the fact that the bricklist was not correctly updated from the version 3. We have suspended this product until we get the pieces in place; We will also send the missing pieces to those who have already ordered the product.

can you put more shermans plz

    • admin

Sorry about the delay in restocking!

  25. Jayden (verified owner)

Ran out of important pieces quickly and had to improvise the tank looks good but the instructions were pretty confusing it took me almost 4 hours since I had to redo a lot of stuff plus the tank turret for me cannot move But at the end of it still a very nice tank.

    • admin

Hi sorry to hear that. The current instruction for this one is still the old version with different colours, in which the grey and green pieces usually got mixed up. I’ll revise the instruction shortly. However I’m not sure why the turret cannot rotate? If you email us I can assist you further.

End result is great! Im not sold on the double track design. There was definitely some parts where the instructions were incorrect, but its doable and makes you think.

I love the directions being color coded, as opposed to the other 3 tanks i have built already (Panzer 4, Tiger 1, King Tiger). That being said, quality control was very lacking. I was missing numerous pieces. Luckily since I have built the other three, i could replace them easily enough. However if this was my first set, i would have been very frustrated.

    • admin

Thanks for the feedback! The instruction of Sherman tank was made manually and that why it may have mistakes. It will be updated shortly using instruction generating software to prevent the mistakes and match the style of others.

When is this coming back in stock? I don’t want to have to buy brickmania’s $200 Sherman! I love that you guys are making affordable lego tanks!

    • admin

Thanks! a few are coming this month.

  35. Kai Yoshimoto

Not a review, but a suggestion. Are you able to make another version in grey?

    • admin

Hi was there a grey Sherman? could you provide a link? Thanks.

  36. Anonymous (verified owner)

Loved building it apart from a few missing pieces and a change in the instructions they hadn’t updated but once built it looks great.

  37. Vachellerie Maxence (verified owner)

I think that there was one or two pieces missing but I could find them in my spare bricks. The price for this might be a little high compared to the size of the end product but I know you have to make the pieces and maybe pay for the designing applications. Enjoyed building it 👍🏼👍🏼

  38. Tom (verified owner)

Good kit although was missing the top cover hatch brick and had a lot of bricks left and I’m sure some other parts were supposed to be on it but not on the instructions

  39. Kenta S. (verified owner)

    My comments –
    1. As others have written above, some of the instructions are incorrect or unclear. However, experienced Lego builders should be able to figure it out and adjust with some logic + trial&error.
    2. The way how Sherman’s rear half sloping is engineered is very unique. I don’t think I’ve seen anyone else do it this way. It has its pros and cons.
    3. Some of the interior detail is a bit superfluous in my opinion. Such as that in the turret. I opted to remove some of it to strengthen certain sections with more brick support.
    4. Perhaps my biggest complaint would be the tracks and road wheels design. First, the road wheels should be single row (not double row) as this Sherman model is based on having the VVSS. If the model was based on having the HVSS, it’d be correct. Secondly, the tracks do not roll at all and attempts to make it roll results in the tracks coming off. I think this can be an easy fix by changing a few things in the design.
But that all said, I still think this is a great kit. Yes, it’s a complex kit, but that’s part of the fun. Also, the profile is spot on. Best of all (for me), the model is perfectly in 1:35 scale. Finally, I think this kit can be configured into a M4A3E8 (Easy 8) Sherman for future release. If Build Army releases one, I will certainly buy it.

    • admin

Thanks so much for your valuable feedback and suggestions! Yes I’ll definitely revise the M4 Sherman and make the Easy 8 based on it.

  40. Jordan (verified owner)

A great vehicle, definitely room for improvement such as a revision of the instructions as well and allowing the gun to elevate and depress.

  41. Sander (verified owner)

Design is great, only instructions needs some revisions

  42. Wishmerhill (verified owner)

The tank is designed with all the details like the real thing. It will look good next to the other tanks. Only point i have is that the instructions sometimes miss to highlight placing parts, so you really have to keep playing attention or you miss some essential parts in the build. But still amazing!

  43. Jordan (verified owner)

A nice looking kit, instructions are somewhat difficult to follow at times but is doable. I enjoyed building it and will you consider adding more variants of the Sherman for example easy eight with the 76mm etc.

    • admin

Thanks a lot for your comments! I’ll revise the instruction as this kit is still the first version. And yes I’ll do the variants of Sherman in the future, after I finish a few fighter planes.

  44. nikosarg (verified owner)

Great quality and end result. Assembly instructions are not entirely accurate in a couple of areas, and some intelligent guesswork was needed. Other than that, great product!

  45. Alfie

Great model .smaller than I expected but highly detailed! However my tracks didn’t roll

  46. Gauvain

Je n’est malheuresement pas reçu les instructions de montage par mail.

    • admin

Hi there did you check the spam? we sent the link again. Sorry for the inconvenience, we are producing instruction booklet at the moment.

  47. Nolund C. (verified owner)

It is a good price for how good of quality the bricks are (comparable to lego), fun to build and is good for any MOC’s I plan to build in the future

    • admin

      Thanks a lot!

  48. Howard Marquette (verified owner)

This was very difficult to assemble but is very much worth it. In my opinion, this is the absolute best Sherman brick tank available. The slopes and angles are perfect! I will be buying more to add to my fleet.

had fun building but very hard to know if you must use green or grey bricks. Roof MG was missing on mine.

    • admin

Sorry to hear that. Usually you can tell the color from the next step but I’ll try to improve the instruction about this. Besides I’ll send you the missing MG.

  53. Cristina C. (verified owner)

    fair price and good quality

Had fun building and great quality bricks and looks for the cheap price!
